Tyler stands naked on a plinth. Like Michelangelo’s David, he seems the epitome of youthful perfection. He poses for an oil painting, perhaps his last ever. As the painting nears completion, a supernatural encounter forces him to confront the demons of his past and to question the concept of legacy.

Filming The Specter's Entrance

One of the most difficult shots in the movie was the entrance of the ghost. It had to be captured in one smooth continuous shot with moving props, lights and camera angles, while keeping all of the crew out of the scene and no extraneous noise reaching the michrophones, or shadows being cast. The short video clip on the left demonstrates the fun that we had carrying this out.
